Critic #2: Wobin
Wobin also thinks that the visual layout matches with that of my infographic. He likes the use of the kobe bryant outline. He likes how the color splits between yellow and purple. The color model is consistent with the infographic. The typography is consistent with the use of capital letters. He suggested to make the pictures vary by size. The more points scored should have a bigger picture.
I have included most of my text to be capitalize in efforts to match my typography model. Given your suggestion on pictures varying by size, I have decided not to have that because it will create an imbalance of space from right to left. The right would be the medium size, center the largest, and the left, the smallest. Instead, I have used line treatment in efforts to distinguish what the yellow meant and also included a brief description onto the left of what it means also.

Critic #3: Marco
Given your feedback, I have made a better effort in matching my graphic to that of my model more. I have create a header and added numbers in order to match the placement to that of my visual. I have also attempted to play around with the color placement and thus, I have revised the right one.

Critic #1: Miranda
Miranda really likes my revised one better because of its additional background and the more detail I have overall with the graphic. The color seems to be consistent to that on my color model and she can see the use of repetitive pictures to emulate my visual language model. One the Miranda would consider would be to have a more straightforward timeline. Maybe add an arrow to indicate time passed.
Given your response, I have included arrows onto my numbers display to give it a step by step (in this case time) feel so that the viewer can already tell its going from 1900s-2000s. Also, to make it more straightforwards, I have aligned it so that viewers won't be confused at which way the numbers graph is going.

Critic #1: Solayman
Solayman says that overall, the numbers infographic is consistent with my color model. Also, he can see the repetitions of drawings and that is also used in the visual layout model. A couple things to think about is to color code the fills. The color does not correspond with the purple years and the yellow points. Maybe perhaps color code those.

Given your feedback, I have tweaked a lot of my edits. First off, I have given a label to the color correspondence with the ratio of points scored in each picture. The yellow represents 32% of his total points scored and so on. Also, instead of color coding, I have used line treatment in order to indicate what the yellow means on the body.

Critic #3: Michelle
Michelle, overall liked the revised one better as well. The color model seems to be consistent to that of my color model. A couple things to consider is that the labeling seems kind of clustered and should use line treatment to accurately depict what the yellow means on the pictures low-mid-upper. Also, like Miranda, she would also suggest to have a better visual in terms on showing the years. It seems confusing for a read to see points and then years. So maybe have years somewhere(bolded) to make it stand out more.
I have fixed my labeling in ordering to make the overall graphic less clunky. With your suggestion with line treatment, I have also showed what the yellow meant give my description and also fixed the years and points by bolding it.

This display shows the relationship displays for my infographic. This display Kobes points scored in 6 year intervals, or his average points per season spanding from 1996, to 2003 during hisprofessional career. It gives an insight to what Kobe has accomplished and how he is the compared to that of the average nba player, or just his points scored.

How this element exploits the visual potential of numbers. In attempt to make create a consistent visual layout to my models, I have used the same bar graphs, circles, and also round rectangles in effort to combine these visual content and display it onto my timeline. I included lines and also pictures to the right because it follows a consistent theme in my visual language model. Also, the color use for the line was slightly opaque compared to the guide marker. The other graph was from my previous visual language model, but however due to its lack of 'language', I have switched my model. I can use perhaps use this bar graph as more insight for further revisions.

How this element emulates the models: I had used the same or similar font as the existing info graphic in my typography model. I used Myriad Pro, a similar looking font to use on the title. I have created a larger font to indicate the date. Currently, the year font is bigger than that of the description because I want the viewer to look at the year in which Kobe accomplished these milestones.

Marco thinks that the visual language matches well in the kobe bryant icon. He likes the use of the icon and having the color model match with the purple and gold, using that as an advantage. It matches the typography with the numbers, the first one is better because it shows his points more thoroughly.
Critic #2: Marco
Marco really thinks the revised version is much more vivid and is able to show information. It shows how much he scored throughout the years and the importance of scoring in his career. One thing Marco could suggest is to make it look more like a timeline and possibly show a trend of the reasons why he scored that much during the different times in his career. Marco feel like to represent the thickness in how much he scored, Calvin should keep the yellow at the same so people can visually see how much more points he scored in the 6 years.
Given you response, I have include a brief description to why he has scored so much points. I have kept the yellow lines the same and also adjusted my placement of my pictures for a more sleek design.

First Number Elements & Critiques
Final Display Message & Emulation

In this numbers display, I wanted to convey to the viewer how much points Kobe has scored given 3- 6 years intervals and the things that were going on within these years that reflected his points scored on the court. Here I have 3 of the same jump shot silhouette because altogether, it will encode the total amount of points he scored given the time of 18 years. The yellow represents and encodes the proportion to the percentage of the total points he scored throughout his career. The bigger the yellow fill means more points scored. (Explain first picture percentage, second, and third for a combination of 100% of the points scored.) I want viewers to see that the bigger the yellow portion is, the more points he scored relative to the other intervals. Also, the yellow starts at the bottom because it is to present his in the beginning of his career, the middle representing his mid-pro career, and the top, representing his ending stats. I have used precisions labels to represent the total amount being visualized by identifying where the fill is and giving an exact amount of points being scored within those years.

To emulate my color model, I have used purple and yellow for my fills to make it consistent. To emulate my typography, the letters and lines are aligned to the left and the header at all times are uppercase sensitive. For my visual language model, I have emulated the use of reptition and a way to give intervals to how much Kobe Bryant has scored. Also, I have used line treatment similar to that of my visual language model to label how many points are scored given each 6 year time period.
